The Sharks have reportedly hashed out a deal to boost their options in the front row with a move for veteran campaigner Ruan Dreyer from the Lions.
According to a report by RugbyPass’ Fissler Confidential, the seven-Test Springbok tighthead has agreed to a two-year contract with the 2023-24 Challenge Cup champions.

It is understood that the 33-year-old is in advanced talks about securing an early release from his current deal with the Pride.
Dreyer rejoined the Lions in July 2020 after an injury-plagued two-season stint with the English Premiership outfit Gloucester. He provided much-needed grit and experience to a youthful Lions outfit, yet made just 13 appearances for Ivan van Rooyen’s charges in the Vodacom URC and Challenge Cup last season.
