Jordan Hendrikse is relishing the opportunity to reunite with his brother Jaden at the Sharks for what the Springbok playmaker hopes will play out like an “action movie”.
Hendrikse’s highly-anticipated signing with the Sharks was announced by the Durban outfit earlier this year, but contractual issues were expected to delay the 23-year-old flyhalf’s switch from the Lions. However, the teams reached a mutual agreement earlier this month for an immediate release.

Hendrikse, who made his Test debut against Wales in June, joins his Bok scrumhalf sibling and former Lions teammate Emmanuel Tshituka at Kings Park, strengthening the 2023-24 Challenge Cup winners’ squad.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Hendrikse shared his excitement for the move to the Shark Tank while highlighting what it will mean to his family and late father.
